The young mermaid down there below is Shalla, also known as the Lonely Mermaid.
Yes, she is a sad and lonely mermaid, because, see, she has these twelve amazingly beautiful sisters, and all the young mermen have written long and fantastic songs about them, praising their beauty and wisdom.
But no one has ever written a song for Shalla, and she is very sad about that. She feels so alone.
Could you please write a poem of some sort about her? It would mean so much to her!
